Thank you for your wonderful tributes to Ken Bunting, an old friend of mine.
We met in the mid- 70s when he was a fledgling reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer and became close friends over our frequent tennis matches.
When Aimee and I married in 1977, he made the trip to Chicago to be my best man and even gave us his own plush orange couch since we had no furniture in our new apartment (remember it was the 70s).
What a kind heart.
Looking back at the wedding photos, we all had more hair then, but his spirit jumped off of the page.
You always knew that he was going to be someone who made a difference in this world.
Despite his untimely death, it gives me some comfort that Ken passed away doing something that he loved.
A well-played life, Ken.
Game, set and match goes to you.
— Paul and Aimee Skingle,
