Texas No. 1?

I keep hearing our “Christian” conservative Republicans’ political ads touting how they want to keep Texas No. 1, but they aren’t specific as to whether they are referencing our place in uninsured and under-fed children, underfunded schools, least high school graduates, minimum wage jobs, bigotry or executions.
Maybe they’re referring to our gerrymandered districts, high property taxes and utility rates, pollution or simply the crony capitalism that is second to none.
Since Texas ranks first, or is as at least closing fast on first place in these and many other areas, I do wish these big-business lobbyists seeking office would be more specific as to the aspects in which they plan on keeping Texas No. 1.
