Cruz to Tennessee

Tennessee, the Volunteer State, has given many of its sons to the establishment of the State of Texas — Davy Crockett and Sam Houston, two notable examples. And whereas we appreciate your naming a major city after our governor, we really think it is time that Texas shows a little more appreciation. (Quite frankly, the armadillos you sent us don’t count.)

I know that not everyone in Texas is happy with Sen. Ted Cruz. In Tennessee we elected two men to the Senate we thought were Republicans, but both turned out to be RINO’s. Therefore, I would like to make a proposal. Send us Sen. Cruz. He can replace one of our RINO’s and make us happy.

For those in Texas that don’t like him, it will make them happy, and those who do like him can rejoice that a great American is still in the Senate.
