I first met Jay Lapham, judicial candidate for the 297th District Court, when he served as the Chief of the Crimes Against Children Unit of the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office. During his tenure he received statewide recognition for his thorough and successful prosecution of some of the most difficult and heinous crimes against children.

His leadership and judgment inspired the confidence of not only the prosecutors he supervised, but also the many professionals he interacted with daily.

Lapham is a knowledgeable, effective attorney who brings a wealth of experience to the courtroom.
