When will the Congress of United States of America learn?
Raising the debt ceiling is like scampering to the stern of the Titanic when it is sinking. At some point in time this country has to face the facts. Something has to give. Printing or borrowing money is a fool’s errand. Approaching $17 trillion in debt is an inexcusable lapse in common and economic sense.
Anybody with a sky-high balance on their credit cards knows that they must either pay it off, or go bankrupt. At the very least, they must stop spending by this means until some cuts in their way of living are made, however painless that is.
