FORT WORTH — Police would like to ring this guy’s number.

Authorities are trying to identify a man who kept his cellphone to his ear while robbing a bank inside a south Fort Worth grocery store Thursday evening.

The robbery took place shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the First Convenience Bank, located inside the Kroger grocery store at 3510 Altamesa Boulevard.

The robber is described as black, 5-foot-8-inches to 6-foot tall and 200 to 225 pounds. He was wearing a white hooded jacket with a gold emblem design all over it, a blue T-shirt with a logo on front, back baggy pants and white shoes.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked call Detective Scott Thompson at 817-989-3317.
