Reward offered in Arlington bank robbery

ARLINGTON — A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in a bank robbery on Thursday.

About 3:50 p.m., a man walked into the Compass Bank in the 600 block of Randol Mill Road and passed the teller a note demanding money. The note threatened violence if the teller did not comply, police said.

The suspect was last seen walking away with an undetermined amount of cash in a neighborhood south of the bank, police said.
