A Weatherford woman died Thursday afternoon when her car overturned on a rural road in far northwest Parker County, highway patrol officials said.
Loraine Baldwin, 76, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident south of Whitt, according to troopers from a Texas Department of Public Safety office in Weatherford.The wreck was reported at 2:47 p.m. Thursday on Farm Road 52, a quarter-mile south of Whitt, the DPS reported.Baldwin was northbound in a 1996 Mercury four-door which "failed to negotiate a curve to the west," the DPS said.She lost control of the car which left the roadway and overturned, ejecting her, the DPS said.
