The Star-Telegram partnered with the Schieffer School of Journalism at TCU this spring on a capstone project on civil asset forfeitures, giving a handful of selected students an opportunity for training as part of the next generation of reporters and editors.
Tori Cummings is a senior journalism major from Boise, Idaho. She was the sports editor for TCU 360 , the student news website, for three semesters and also worked a year for TCU’s sports television show, TCU Sports Now, as a reporter, anchor and producer.
Sarah Greufe, a senior, is studying journalism and anthropology. She was a reporter and photographer for TCU 360 and served as the editor of the Daily Skiff in 2012. In spring 2013, she studied at Dublin City University and interned as the entertainment editor at the Irish student website oxygen.ie.

Ryan Osborne is a senior journalism major from Lawton, Okla., and has covered sports for the Star-Telegram since September. He was a business news intern for The Dallas Morning News in the summer of 2013. Before that, he covered TCU athletics for TCU 360 and then for Rivals.com.
Emily Atteberry is a senior journalism major from Olathe, Kan. She has previously interned at USA Today in McLean, Va., The Cape Cod Times and Patch.com in Massachusetts, and Greenability Magazine in Kansas City, Mo.
Lauren Cummins is a senior journalism major from Las Vegas. She is editor in chief of Image Magazine on campus and a former editor for TCU 360. She has interned at KXAN-TV in Austin and Vegas Magazine in Las Vegas. Cummins studied in Seville, Spain, for a semester as part of her minor in Spanish.
J.D. Moore, a senior, is a multimedia journalist born and raised in Honolulu. Moore freelances for Sirius XM Radio and is a former intern at WFAA TV. He is a former sports and managing editor at TCU 360.
Mary Muller is a senior journalism major and political science minor from Denison. During the spring semester, she interned with WFAA.com and worked as special projects editor for TCU 360. She previously interned with KXII-TV and the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., where she studied for a semester.
Bethany Peterson, a senior, grew up riding horses in the Fort Worth area. She was editor in chief of The Collegian, Tarrant County College’s student newspaper, and earned an associate of arts degree in 2012. She has worked as a community reporter for the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, a researcher and writer for the Dallas Business Journal, and an editor for TCU 360.
Michelle Burden is a senior journalism and political science major. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, and moved to Grapevine when she was 6. She has written and taken photos for TCU 360, the 109.org and Image Magazine.
Samantha Ehlinger is a junior from Houston, double majoring in journalism and English, with a minor in French. She is a managing editor for TCU 360 and will intern for the Houston Chronicle this summer. In fall 2013, she studied abroad in Paris, where she interned for the nonprofit Association Caméléon.
Jake Harris is a senior journalism major from Wahiawa, Hawaii. He is executive editor of TCU’s online news organization, TCU 360. He spent his fall semester at The Daily Caller as a member of the Schieffer School in Washington program and has also interned at the Rhea Herald-News in Dayton, Tenn.
Liliana Lamas is a senior journalism and political science double major from Grand Prairie. She has interned at CBS News in Washington with Face the Nation and at the Metroplex radio station KLTY/94.9 FM. She has been heavily involved with student media and served as a managing editor of TCU 360.
