Early voting starts Tuesday

Early voting in person starts Tuesday for the March 4 Republican and Democratic primaries.
Polls were closed Monday for the President’s Day holiday, but are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Feb. 24-28 at 40 locations throughout the county.
Temporary locations, which are listed along with the others at the Tarrant County elections website, www.tcweb.tarrantcounty.com, are not open Friday-Sunday.
Sample ballots and election day polling places also are available on the website.
Voters can confirm their registration status at the Texas secretary of state’s website, www.sos.state.tx.us, or through the secretary of state’s voter hotline, 800-252-8683.
