The quarterback for Keller Timber Creek High School and two other teens have been accused of stealing packages from front porches of houses in Flower Mound and possibly Southlake, Keller and Fort Worth.
The teens were arrested last week in Flower Mound.
Flower Mound police identified the suspects as Anthony Millsap, 17, and Ulugbeck Nasirov, 18, both of Fort Worth; and a Keller 16-year-old who was not identified because of his age.
Millsap, a senior, was the quarterback at Keller Timber Creek High School, according to local television reports. The school is in Fort Worth, but in the Keller school district.
The three were arrested Wednesday after Flower Mound police responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at Bruton Orand Boulrevard and North Sterling Parkway at 2:39 p.m.
The caller reported seeing people in a car driving through the neighborhood, picking up packages and tossing boxes out the window.
Officers stopped the vehicle in the 5200 block of Cross Timbers Road, found stolen property inside and arrested the three suspects.
Investigators found more than 40 items stolen from homes Flower Mound, Southlake, Keller and Fort Worth, they said.
Millsap, Nasirov and the teen face charges of engaging in organized criminal activity, Flower Mound police Capt. Richard Brooks said.
