Police are investigating a shooting that sent a 24-year-old man to John Peter Smith Hospital after he was shot in the face Monday afternoon.
Police were called to a house at 5625 Humbert Ave. at 1:38 p.m. where a man was lying on the curb, according to police.
Police believe the man was dropped off on the curb by the suspect.
Officers posted an image of the taped-off crime scene on social media shortly before 4 p.m. Monday.
The man was apparently shot in the cheek and back with a pellet gun, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said.
He was transported in stable condition to JPS, he said.
Fort Worth police had not released additional information late Monday.
