The man who was killed when he was ejected from his pickup on West Loop 820 Wednesday has been identified as Willy Clemente, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Clemente, 21, was pronounced dead at 6:23 p.m. Wednesday after he lost control of the truck and hit a guard rail on a west Fort Worth freeway, police reported.
Witnesses said the man was speeding and driving erratically northbound on West Loop 820 at Las Vegas Trail when his truck “left the roadway, hit the guard rail and then flipped several times before coming to a stop in the middle median separating north and southbound lanes,” police Capt. Scott Conn said.
The man was ejected from the pickup and was pronounced dead at the scene, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said.
