Fort Worth police seek woman involved in club shooting

Five other people, including the woman’s boyfriend, have been charged in the fatal shooting.

A 24-year-old woman who allegedly told her boyfriend to “take care” of a man who’d snitched on him for bringing a gun into an after-hours club last month is being sought in the man’s fatal shooting.

On Tuesday, Fort Worth police asked for the public’s help in finding Tiffany Ashley Torres, 24.

Torres is wanted on a warrant for engaging in criminal activity/murder.

Similar charges have already been filed against Torres’ boyfriend, Rick Samuel Soto, and four of his fellow gang members: Andrew Perez Arellano, 26; Ernest Andrew Garcia, 28; Raymond Anthony Pena, 19; and Joseph Molina, 22.

All five were in the Tarrant County Jail on Tuesday.

According to court documents, Soto and his girlfriend entered the Siin Lounge at 2104 Jacksboro Highway in the early morning of Aug. 3 but other members of Soto’s gang were kept outside after club employees found that they were concealing guns.

After a pat-down revealed that he had a gun, Garcia was twice denied entrance to the club. When he came back a third time, Molina offered the bouncer money to let Garcia in with the gun, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The bouncer refused, the affidavit says, and turned away the entire group.

“While he was turning away the group, two shootings took place inside the club,” homicide Detective J. Cedillo wrote in an arrest warrant affidavit.

One of the shootings left rival gang member Ernest Vasquez dead after Vasquez alerted a club employee that Soto had a gun in his waistband.

A bouncer questioned Soto, who admitted having the gun and agreed to remove it from the club. As he and his girlfriend were leaving, court documents say, Torres began arguing with Vasquez and told Soto to “take care of that n-----.”

Soto joined in the argument, pulled a gun and fired at Vasquez, prompting Vasquez to return fire.

Vasquez was struck twice and later died from his injuries at a Fort Worth hospital.

Soto and Torres fled the club. Soto continued shooting as he ran, wounding Ernesto Rodriguez in the parking lot, the affidavit says.

Elsewhere in the club, Pena also fired shots, the affidavit says.

Arellano is accused of being the getaway driver for Molina and Garcia, the affidavit states.
