Fort Worth homicide detectives were investigating the deaths of a 44-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman whose bodies were found Wednesday evening.

Police were investigating the deaths of a 44-year-old man and 25-year-old woman whose bodies were found Wednesday evening in the bedroom of a house in far north Fort Worth, police reported.

Officers responded to a shooting call made at 6:40 p.m. from the 1800 block of Two Hawks Drive, said Officer Sharron Neal, a police spokeswoman.

Four adults live in the home, and two came home to find the bodies, she said.

Both were shot, and homicide detectives are investigating, she said.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office won’t release the names until Thursday morning at the earliest, she said.

The neighborhood is northwest of Saginaw near the U.S. 287 split from Interstate 35W.
