One dead in Forest Hill traffic crash

An motorist from Alamo, Texas, was killed Sunday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Southeast Loop 820 in Forest Hill, authorities said.
The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Juan Bermea, 37, of Alamo, a Rio Grande Valley town in south Texas. He was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m. at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Forest Hill police were called to the major accident shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday in the 4800 block of Southeast Loop 820.
Forest Hill police Capt. Jerry Cosby said Sunday that the driver crashed when he tried to exit the highway.
The cause of the wreck was under investigation.
