Two killed in Grapevine motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist and a passenger were killed early Sunday when their vehicle slammed into a guardrail on Interstate 635 in Grapevine, police said.

A 27-year-old man from Quinlan and a 25-year-old Richardson woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names were not released pending notification of relatives.

Grapevine police responded to a report of a major accident about 2:13 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of I-635.

Officers found that the 2009 Suzuki GSXR was traveling west on the highway when the driver lost control and hit the guardrail.

The crash is under investigation.
