Hurst man arrested in fatal wreck with motorcyclist

A 35-year-old Hurst man faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter after a Thursday night wreck in Hurst that left a motorcyclist dead.
According to Hurst police, Rory Reaves turned his Yukon in front of a Honda motorcyle while attempting to turn north onto Hurstview Drive from eastbound Pipline Road about 10 p.m. Thursday.
The front of the motorcycle, which had been traveling west on Pipeline Road, struck the right side of the Yukon.
Josh Cain, 21, of Bedford, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries at 11:03 p.m.
Tarrant County court records show Reaves had been put on probation in 2006 after being convicted of driving while intoxicated. His probation was revoked in 2009 and he was sentenced to 90 days in jail, records show.
