A 30-year-old man faces an intoxication manslaughter charge after a one-vehicle wreck Saturday morning in Bedford that killed a passenger in his car.
The wreck occurred in the 2800 block of Highway 183.
According to Bedford police, a 2012 Kia driven by 30-year-old Assis Silva of Bedford was westbound on the highway when he lost control of the car. The Kia struck a guardrail, then flipped, police said.
Marcos Ribeiro, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:25 a.m.
Silva was arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter. He was released Sunday after posting a $20,000 bond.
