Robber hits Frost Bank in north Fort Worth

man wearing dark sunglasses and a Dallas Mavericks cap took an undisclosed amount of money Monday afternoon from a Frost Bank in north Fort Worth Monday afternoon, police said.

The man, described as about 50 to 70 years old, had not been arrested as of Tuesday.

The suspect robbed the Frost Bank, 3851 Northeast Loop 820 in Fort Worth, shortly before 4 p.m. Monday.

The robber walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, police said Tuesday.

After getting the money, the man walked out of the bank, got into a black car and drove away.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white man who was wearing a multicolored long sleeve plaid shirt and blue jeans. He is about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 and weighs 160 to 170 pounds, police said.
