No injuries were reported in the blaze, which that occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. at 904 W. Cannon St.

“We went on the defensive rather quickly on it,” said Fort Worth Fire Department spokesman Tim Hardeman. “Part of the building collapsed.”

The cause of the fire was under investigation, fire officials said. The building was about a block east of Trimble Tech High School.
