Parker County authorities were asking for the public’s help Wednesday night to identify the pair of thieves who stole 30 cartons of cigarettes worth $1,500 from a convenience story.
The pair broke into the Aledo Bearcat Cafe Convenience Store, 421 N. Farm Road 1187, just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the Parker County Sheriff’s Department.
Surveillance video showed them wearing masks or head coverings as they “forcefully” broke in “through a rear entrance, filling two large bags with merchandise, then exiting a short time later with about 30 cartons of cigarettes,” the news release said.
The man has curly hair and was wearing tan shorts, a T-shirt and a hoodie. The woman’s hair was pulled back in a bun. She was wearing a T-shirt, black shorts and tennis shoes. Both wore gloves.
They drove off in a small SUV.
