An Arlington man who was critically injured over the weekend when he exited a moving truck has died at a Fort Worth hospital, Arlington police said Thursday.
Moises DeLaTorre, 37, died from head trauma Monday at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, but a ruling is pending on the manner of death.
Detectives are investigating whether alcohol was a factor.
Arlington patrol officers responded to a crash call about 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of West Sanford Street.
Investigators learned that a 31-year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup got into an argument with DeLaTorre, a passenger.
As the two argued, DeLaTorre unbuckled his seat belt, opened a passenger door and exited the truck, police said.
The investigation continued Thursday.
