One stolen bulldog puppy found, 2 others still gone in Johnson County

Deputies continued their search Tuesday for two valuable English bulldog puppies who were stolen during the weekend in Johnson County.

One of three valuable English bulldog puppies stolen over the weekend from a Johnson County residence was back home Tuesday, authorities said.

Sky, 10 months old, was found at a Fort Worth park Saturday, said Johnson County sheriff’s Lt. Tim Jones.

The person who found the puppy called the owners after seeing news reports, Jones said.

But the other puppies — Sky’s 10-month-old sibling, Mac, and 9-month-old Cowboy — are still gone.

More than 50 tips have been received, Jones said.

“We’re getting calls from Oklahoma and New Mexico,” he said.

The dogs’ owners, Lucky and Donna Watson, reported that burglars broke into their house in the 3700 block of Trails End Road near Burleson over the weekend and took the three puppies, valued at $10,000 each. The Watsons have raised English bulldogs for 35 years as DoWats Bulldog.

Mac and Sky were to compete this week at a show in Denver.
