A motorist died Sunday from injuries he suffered in a one-car wreck on Interstate 35W near Meacham Boulevard, police said.
A passenger was seriously injured in the crash, which was reported about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Isaac Trujillo, 21, of Fort Worth, who was pronounced dead at 6:11 a.m. Sunday at John Peter Smith Hospital.
The condition of the passenger was unavailable.
Patrol officers were dispatched to a major accident call on southbound I-35W.
According to police reports, a black Pontiac Grand Prix was southbound when it hit a guardrail, ran over 10 posts before spinning back onto the highway and stopped.
Alcohol may have been a factor, police said.
