2 chimney fires damage Grapevine apartments

One fire in two apartments displaced families, and another caused minor damage.

One of two chimney fires in Grapevine on Tuesday night displaced four families, but no one was injured, a fire official said.

A fire reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. at Camden Riverwalk Apartments, 3800 Grapevine Mills Parkway, damaged two apartments and displaced the four families. The apartments sustained fire, smoke and water damage, Deputy Fire Chief Darrell Brown said.

An earlier chimney fire, reported shortly after 9 p.m. at the Woodlake Apartments at 655 N. Park Blvd., caused minor damage.
