Arlington man faces murder charge in 2012 stabbing death

A 19-year-old Arlington man was arrested Tuesday in a 2012 stabbing death outside a sports bar.
Duc Thinh Pham was in the Arlington city jail Tuesday night facing a murder charge. Bail was set at $150,000, according to the jail log.
Pham is accused of fatally stabbing Yong Nammeechai, 25, on Sept. 9. They were members of two groups that got into a fight in a parking lot near Maverick’s Sports Grill in the 600 block of East Main Street, according to police.
Pham was apprehended by the Arlington Police Department’s fugitive unit with help from the U.S. Marshal’s North Texas Fugitive Apprehension Task Force, the release said.
