A suspect in the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old woman whose body was found Dec. 15 inside Rockwood Park was arrested Monday.
Joshua Gonzales, 33, of Fort Worth was arrested without incident and taken to the Mansfield Law Enforcement Center after police obtained a probable cause arrest warrant for capital murder. Bond has been set at $500,000, according to the jail log.
Police have connected Gonzales to the fatal shooting of Ryan Major Rice, who was spotted under a tree by a resident who called police. Police said officers were called to the baseball fields at the park, located off Texas 199, north of University Drive, shortly after 5 p.m.
