Reward increased for sex offender with Tarrant County ties

Santos Francisco Sanchez is a member of the Texas Syndicate gang and has ties to the Tarrant County area.

Authorities are offering an increased reward of $15,000 this month only for information leading to the capture of a Texas Syndicate gang member and sex offender with ties to Tarrant County.

Santos Francisco Sanchez, 46, is wanted for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender, according to press release by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Sanchez was sentenced for five years in prison in 1996 on a conviction of attempted aggravated sexual assault of a child out of Tarrant County. According to court records, Sanchez had thrown a 12-year-old girl onto a bed in a failed attempt to sexually assault her.

The release states Sanchez was to have reported to a halfway house after his release from prison in 2003 but never registered with the La Villa Police Department in Hildago County.

His last known address was in the Tarrant County area, where he also has families ties and is known to have worked as a carpenter, the release states.

Sanchez is described as 5-foot-10-inches tall and was last known to weigh about 205 pounds. He has tattoos including a dragon, skulls, and devils on his left forearm, a heart on his upper left arm, a peacock on his upper right arm and a heart and rose on his right forearm.
