Motorist killed in Arlington crash

A motorist was killed late Wednesday when her vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle on an Arlington roadway, police said Thursday.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials at the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Meghan O’Connor, 30. No hometown was listed on the medical examiner’s website.
The wreck was reported about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of Dottie Lynn Parkway.
The woman was driving on Dottie Lynn north of Division Street when she hit a curb, lost control and crossed into oncoming lane of traffic. Her vehicle then collided with the other vehicle, police said.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth with non-life threatening injuries.
Arlington police had not determined a cause for the crash.
