A North Richland Hills man and a woman from Greenville were sentenced to terms in federal prisons Tuesday for child pornography convictions.

Michael M. Bodie, 41, and Latona E. Long, 27, were sentenced by U.S. District Judge Terry Means in Fort Worth.

Bodie was sentenced to nine years while Long got a 10-year term, according to a news release from the U.S. attorney’s office.

In February, FBI agents executed a search warrant at Bodie’s home on suspicion that he was using a Yahoo email account to send and receive child pornography.

Bodie admitted to sharing images with a person, L.L., “now known to be Long,” the news release stated.

Agents questioned Long, who said she had communicated with a person she knew as M.B, “now known as Bodie,” according to the release.

During their communications, “she sent Bodie an image of child pornography,” the release stated.

Bodie and Long have been in custody since their arrests and they pleaded guilty in June to distribution of child pornography, according to the release.
