The Weatherford ISD Education Foundation recently announced the 2014 Kapron Kangaroo Football Camp.

Designed for students in grades 1-6, the camp will offer both offensive and defensive drills. Boys and girls are welcome to participate and parents/guardians are encouraged to watch from the stands. Cost is $5 in advance and $10 the day of the camp.

After graduating from WHS in 2008, Lewis-Moore continued his football career, playing defensive end for the University of Notre Dame. In 2012, he served as team captain.

During the 2013 NFL Draft, Lewis-Moore was selected with the Baltimore Ravens’ first pick in the 6th round (200th overall). He sat out last season with a torn ACL but is now healthy and ready to help the Ravens defense in his second season.

The camp will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Fri., June 27, at Kangaroo Stadium. Registration opens at 5 p.m.
