Meet Cindy, a sweet brindle Dachshund mix around 2 years old and 17 pounds. She loves all people including children of all ages. She enjoys the company of cats. She likes to hang out in your lap and cuddle up to you. She doesn't like to share your attention, so she would do best as an only dog. Cindy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and is on flea and heart worm prevention. If you're interested in Cindy or any other dogs in foster care, please visit the website and submit an adoption application. If you don't have access to the internet but are interested in adoption, please contact Parker Paws at 817-694-5718.

The previous pets of the week were seven puppies, and three are still available for adoption. Meet them and other adoptable dogs each Saturday at the Weatherford PetSmart from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may also see photos and read about them online at our website or on Facebook (search Parker Paws). Foster pets stay in volunteers' homes (or with Good Samaritans) until adopted and are treated like family. Adoptable cats are available for adoption seven days a week at the Weatherford PetSmart.

Parker Paws thanks you for helping them rescue more pets. They are all volunteers and rely on foster homes and generous donations so that they can save as many homeless pets as possible. Visit their website to learn more about its lifesaving mission: If you'd like to donate gently used items for the spring garage sale, please contact 817-694-5718.
