Weatherford Regional Medical Center (WRMC) will host a free Healthy Woman fitness and weight management seminar on Thurs., Feb. 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church located at 301 South Main Street in Weatherford.
As the New Year kicks off, one of the top resolutions people make is to start working out and eat healthier. This interactive seminar will include different fitness techniques, demonstrated by instructors from Fit for Life, to help women find the ones that fit their work out style. The seminar will also feature a presentation by family medicine physician, Sara Saginaw, D.O., who will cover the ways to manage weight.
“When it comes to weight management, working out is helpful to increase your metabolism, but it is also important that the foods you eat are healthy and are in moderation,” Saginaw said.
The evening will include a light refreshments, door prizes, and vendor booths. Attendees are encouraged to wear exercise attire.
