Patsy Hooks, 65, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Sun., Dec. 22, with her loving family at her side.
Her memorial service was held on Dec. 28 with a private interment.

Patricia Ann Landon was born on December 2, 1948, the only child of Rey and Merna Harrison Landon, in Fort Worth, where she grew up in the Poly area. Patsy attended West Texas A & M and graduated with a Master's Degree in Education from TCU. She met and married the love of her life, Weatherford mayor Dennis Hooks on August 7, 1981 in Cleburne.
Patsy was a member of the Bush Legacy - Republican Women's; Parker County Women's and Newcomers; Taste of Parker County, Past Chair; Rotary Club; Parker County Health Foundation, Past Chair; Supporter of WISD Education Foundation; Weatherford/Parker County Animal Shelter Advisory Group. She was also a faithful member of Grace First Presbyterian Church.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include Dennis, husband of 32 years; sons, Kip Hooks and wife, Dee Dee and Kory Hooks and wife, Stephanie, all of Weatherford; five grandsons, Hunter Greenwood, Kayd Hooks, Jagger Hooks, Trip Hooks and Tag Hooks, all of Weatherford; cousin, Mary Mooney of Fort Worth; and a host of loving family and friends.
