Theatre Off the Square in Weatherford proudly presents the September production of their 2015 Season of Shows, Rumors. This Neil Simon comedy is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. The play is directed by Angela Arthurs, with Marilyn Sanderson as Assistant Director and Jennifer Chane as Stage Manager. The show begins Friday, Sept. 4 and runs weekends through Sept. 20.
At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience confusions and miscommunications, with the evening spinning off into classic farcical hilarity.

Members of the cast are Holly Kiehn as Chris Gorman; Christian Sanders as Ken Gorman; Rebecca L. Young as Claire Ganz; Jordan Nissen as Lenny Ganz; Derek Salazar as Ernie Cusack; Rebecca Rhudy – Young (weeks 1 & 3) and Melissa Whiteman (week 2) as Cookie Cusack; Steven Bell as Glenn Cooper; Bethannie Lynne as Cassie Cooper; Damek Salazar as Officer Welch; and Melissa Whiteman (weeks 1 & 3) and Kate Cowling (week 2) as Officer Pudney.
Attend an afternoon or evening of entertainment beginning Friday, Sept. 4, and running through Sunday, Sept. 20. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Theatre Off The Square, the only live theatre in Weatherford, is located at 114 North Denton Street.
Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors (60+)/students/children under school age. Matinee tickets are $11 for all ages and no other discounts apply. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $14 at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, with reserved seating recommended by calling 817-341-8687. Groups of 10 or more may reserve seating with prepaid admission of $12 per person on Fridays and Saturdays and $10 per person on Sundays. You can choose your seats and purchase your tickets to any performance online by visiting the website www.theatreoffthesquare.org. For your convenience, the Box Office is open from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday evenings to purchase tickets and to reserve seats.
