Jan. 30. The city of Colleyville hosts a meeting, 7 p.m., on the second floor of the Colleyville Library, 110 Main St., to gather citizen input on the L.D. Lockett/Cotton Belt II Trailhead. Jan. 31. The Winter Ball, presented by Colleyville Parks and Recreation, begins at 7 p.m. at the Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive. The event is for fathers and daughters, and mothers and sons, and is open to boys and girls ages 4-12. It will feature a DJ providing music, refreshments and special guests for each child. Feb. 1. Colleyville Cash Mob goes to Elixir Salon and Day Maker, 85 Village Ln., from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cash Mobs are coordinated by Colleyville Close Buy and target a different local business each month to encourage people to spend money at local businesses. For information call 817-503-1055.
Feb. 4. Colleyville City Council meets for pre-council session at 5:30 p.m. in the Executive Conference Room, and at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers for regular session, both at City Hall, 100 Main St. For information call 817-503-1000.
Feb. 4. Colleyville Senior Center, 2512 Glade Rd., hosts the First Tuesday Jam Session, beginning at noon. For information call 817-996-9217.

The American Association for Retired People offers free tax assistance every Tuesday from Feb. 4 to April 15, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 a.m., and from 5-8 p.m., at the Colleyville Senior Center, 2512 Glade Rd. Ongoing. The Colleyville City Council will accept applications through Feb. 14 for an at-large position on the Colleyville Center Advisory Committee. Ongoing. The Texas Department of Transportation will be installing flashing yellow arrow signals at several intersections on Hwy. 26 beginning in mid-January. Flashing yellow arrows are the new nationwide standard for a driver to yield to oncoming traffic to turn left, and will be phased in to replace circular green signals for left turns. The flashing yellow arrows are being installed on Hwy. 26 in Colleyville at intersections with Tinker Road, Hall-Johnson Road, Church Street, Main Street, Glade Road, Centerpark and Mid-Cities Boulevard.
Jan. 31-Feb.1. Fashion And Flea, featuring items that are vintage, antique, locally produced or hand-crafted including furniture, décor, housewares, clothing, jewelry, electronics and more sold by independent merchants, takes place 3-8 p.m. on Jan. 31, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Feb. 1 at Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Daddy/Daughter Valentine Dance: An Evening In OZ offers two dances, the first from 4-6 p.m. for daughters ages infant to 7, and the second from 7-9 p.m. for daughters ages 8 and up, both at the Communities Activities Center, 1175 Municipal Way.
