Well, we have made it through the ice and snow.
So now that spring is poking its head around the corner, it can only mean one thing — the annual Colleyville Woman’s Club Fashion Show and Luncheon Benefit.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m. April 4, this event will not only showcase many of the top Dallas fashion and accessory designers, but always brings one of the best silent, live and big board auctions in our area. It will be held at the Hurst Conference Center, located at 1601 Campus Drive in Hurst.
I have heard that this year attendees will be wowed Hollywood style! Look for both vintage and contemporary styles. Throwing a bit of a tribute to Marilyn Monroe, I also understand that all of the runway models will be wearing Monroe’s signature red lipstick and beauty marks.
Never miss a local story.
This year’s designers are Nha Khanh of Nha Khanh Designs, Abi Ferrin, Elizabeth Anyaa, Paulette Martsolf of Allie-Coosh, Bladi Duran, Jessica Jesse of BuDhaGirl, Shona Gilbert’s SHONA and Nancy Garland of Nancy Garland Exclusive. Plus, Dallas-based Kidbiz will provide the children’s fashion, while Ken Weber of Vintage Martini will be offering vintage fashions.
Adding to the excitement is that Jan Strimple of Jan Strimple Productions is once again producing the event. And in my book, that just screams “get my ticket now!”
For more information and tickets, call the Colleyville Woman’s Club hotline at 817-358-1805 or go to www.c-w-c.org and click on the events tab.
It is almost here!
