Rachel showed up at the Keller shelter as a tiny puppy in September. She was so small and sweet and we were delighted when she was adopted as she needed to be in a home where she was loved and cared for. Well, after only four months, Rachel is back.
It appears that when left outdoors, she would try to dig under the fence to get out of the yard. Her owners brought her indoors but then she would chew on random items that were lying around. This is normal puppy behavior and we were saddened to hear that her owners were not willing to train her or play with her to keep her occupied.
Rachel is only a few months old and deserves to be in a wonderful home where she is given the love that she needs to thrive. She is still pretty small and looks like she may be a Chihuahua/Terrier mix so probably won't grow much.
