A Watauga woman died Sunday of injuries sustained Aug. 30 in a one-vehicle collision on Interstate 30, police reported Tuesday.
Joann Martinez, 35, was driving westbound on I-30 near Northwest Seventh Street when her 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe drifted off the roadway and crashed into guardrail, police said in a news release. The vehicle rolled several times, and Martinez, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
The wreck was reported about 3 a.m.
She was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center where she died Sunday, the news release said.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor, but the wreck is still under investigation, police said.
It was Grand Prairie’s eighth traffic fatality this year.
