A young North Texas man died Wednesday morning after colliding with a tractor-trailer in Grapevine.
The man was driving a car on Texas 121 at about 8 a.m. and changed lanes in front of the truck on the exit for Farm Road 2499, according to a Grapevine Police Department news release. The truck hit the driver’s side of the car, pushing it through the median and into the northbound lanes of Texas 121.
The man “suffered extensive head injuries from the collision,” according to the news release. He was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.
The victim was identified at 24-year-old Moh Ahmadi of Dallas, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
Police were still investigating Thursday, but said there’s “no evidence of a criminal offense at this time.”
