Mansfield rolls against DeSoto

The Mansfield baseball team defeated DeSoto on Friday night by a score of 9-1 to remain within the top four positions in District 7-5A competition.

Kyle Laberge picked up the victory for the Tigers and Tyler Greer and Aaron both doubled in the game.

Mansfield played South Grand Prairie on Tuesday night after the press deadline and will travel to Midlothian at 7 p.m. next Tuesday, April 8.

Tigers hammer DeSoto

The Mansfield softball team defeated DeSoto 13-1 on Friday night to move to 8-1 in district competition.

Kylie Decker earned the victory for the Tigers and Lexus Gonzalez doubled twice in thes game for Mansfield.

Casey Waterman and Kate Hale both doubled for Mansfield in the game as well.

The Tigers played South Grand Prairie on Tuesday after the press deadline and will host Timberview at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Legacy wins rivalry game

The Legacy baseball team defeated Lake Ridge on Friday by a score of 2-0 to remain unbeaten in district competition.

Blake Wilson earned the victory in the game for Legacy, while Sam Mahofski doubled in the game for the Broncos.

Legacy played Lancaster on Tuesday after the press deadline and will host Red Oak at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Moore comes up big as Timberview defeats Duncanville

The Timberview baseball team earned a 3-1 victory against Duncanville on Friday night, but not before a hard-fought battle with the Panthers, who allowed just four hits against the Wolves in the game.

Michael Moore got the victory for Timberview against Duncanville, and also doubled and homered in the game for the Wolves.

Timberview will play at Grand Prairie at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Grand Prairie High School.

Timberview's dominance continues

The Timberview softball team kept its winning way going on Friday night, defeating Duncanville 9-0 to move to 9-0 in district competition.

Mariah Denson earned the victory against the Pantherettes, throwing a two-hitter along the way, while Ashley Timmons doubled and homered in the game for the Lady Wolves.

Gabby Littles and Maddie Munoz tripled in the game for the Lady Wolves.

Timberview played Grand Prairie on Tuesday after the press deadline and will travel to Mansfield to take on the Lady Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
