The City of Mansfield and Keep Mansfield Beautiful will host the 10th annual Creekside Cleanup & Cookout on Saturday, Nov. 7, as part of the state-wide Keep Texas Waterways Clean program. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Town Park pavilion, 500 N. Main St, and a hotdog cookout will be held for all volunteers beginning at noon.
Residents are invited to pick up litter in Town Park and along North Main St and the Linear Park Trails. Civic groups, schools, businesses, homeowners associations, faith-based organizations, families and individuals are encouraged to take part in this community event. Students can earn community service hours and Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts can earn patches.

Trash bags, gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, safety vests and a detailed map of the specific litter cleanup area will be provided to volunteers. Bottled water will also be available for participants.
