Alex’s Lemonade Stand was started by Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. She decided to raise money when she was 4 years old by holding lemonade stands. She passed away when she was 8 years old.

Summit Key Club will carry on her legacy by holding Alex’s Lemonade Stand at Applebee’s, 2021 U.S. 287, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 16-17, giving out free lemonade and accepting donations for Alex’s Lemonade Stand foundation for childhood cancer.
