Texas SmartScape, The Home Depot and Weston Gardens have partnered to offer savings on select varieties of low-water-use plants that will thrive in the Texas heat. The Mansfield Water Conserving Plant Sale is scheduled for 8 a.m.-noon April 12 at The Home Depot, 1725 N. U.S. 287.

In addition to discounts on select native and adaptive plants, talk with master gardeners, plant experts and irrigation specialists to get ideas and tips for landscaping in North Texas.

Visit www.txsmartscape.com for more information about the plant sales and to learn more about using native and adaptive plants to conserve water. Call education specialist Arianne Shipley at (817) 477-2248 for information about Mansfield’s event.
