Rockin’ 4th of July

Celebrate Independence Day with live music from the All Funk Radio Show, bounce houses, smash car and fireworks from 7-10 p.m. at Big League Dreams, 500 Heritage Parkway South. Admission is free. Free parking and shuttles at Vernon Newsom Stadium, 3700 E. Broad St.

The Mansfield Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at 206 Smith St. Check out locally-grown produce, farm-raised meats, jams, jellies, local honey, plants, cut flowers, handmade soap, fresh bakery items, arts and crafts and more. Free parking.

Dance music

Put on your cowboy boots and head to the Western Kountry Klub to dance to the New West Band from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Admission is $10 adults, $5 kids; BYOB. The historic dance hall is located at 5728 Lakeview Road, take the Lakeview exit off U.S. 287 between Mansfield and Midlothian. Hear Mansfield’s favorite duo Scott & Steve perform at 6 p.m. at Steven’s Garden & Grill, 223 Depot St.
