Texas State student and active member of Entrepreneurial Action Us (ENACTUS) Morgan Fangman reaches out to help local non-profit organizations. Fangman is a Mansfield High School graduate and pursuing a marketing degree from Texas State University.
She works directly with True Vineyard Ministries (TVM), a non-profit organization supporting Rwandan women suffering from malnutrition, lack of necessities and African Genocides while most importantly contributing to re-building the Rwandan community. The volunteers assist in creating financial goals for the women in hopes of providing for their families.
Mobile Loaves & Fishes is another non-profit organization that the students work hand-in-hand with. This project is geared at providing food and clothing to the homeless brothers and sisters in need. With the help of catering trucks, the students provide food, basic clothing, hygiene products, etc. to the homeless on the streets in need. While the fundamental mission is the feed the hungry, the broader mission is the ultimately empower the individuals to serve in their communities.
ENACTUS is a global, non-profit organization that is literally changing the world through highly dedicated student teams on more than 1600 university campuses in 40 countries. Texas State ENACTUS creates many job opportunities, leadership development, and communication skills nation-wide, thereby improving the standard of living for millions in the process. Today, ENACTUS is the world’s most prominent and largest university-based free enterprise organization. This year the Texas State University team won first in the National Competition and will be attending the World Competition this October in Beijing, China.
