Boy Scout Troop 1993 and Venturing Crew 1993 will hold a flower sale from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in the parking lot of First United Methodist Church, 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive. Selection includes a variety of annuals for $15 per flat, hanging baskets for $12, knockout roses and herbs. Cash, check, & credit cards accepted. Church dedication
St. Jude Catholic Church will dedicate its new church from 10 a.m.-noon with Bishop Michael Olson and Father George Foley, pastor of St. Jude’s, presiding. St. Jude’s is now the largest church in the Fort Worth Diocese with religious artifacts from around the world. The centerpiece is Michelangelo’s Pieta, cast from the only authorized mold of the original. Admission is free and the public is invited.
