After a three-year absence, the 34 year-old Tour of Homes will be held this year concluding the city’s Hometown Holidays weekend.
The tour will be held from 2-7 p.m. Dec. 8.
Six homes will be on tour this year built in styles ranging from Southern Colonial nested in the woods, Italian Country and French Country on acreage, to soft contemporary featuring a salt water aquarium. And we expect to see a flamingo or two in one of the houses.
A Christmas Market Lodge is next to the Randy and Valorie Hague home located on McCampbell Road. Not only will one be able to view the home, ticket holders will be served free refreshments and snacks while browsing through many home and Christmas décor items for sale that were purchased for this event.
Tour tickets may be purchased at Creekside Collections, Mansfield Chiropractic, Mansfield Community Bank and Frost Bank. Tickets may also be purchased during the city’s festivities at the Mansfield Activities Center on Dec. 6 during the Hometown Holidays Parade on Dec. 7 in front of the Chamber of Commerce office.
Tour tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door the day of event. A raffle item will be offered at each home with minimum value of $250. Raffle tickets may also be purchased in advance and the day of event at the lodge or homes . The tour will go on rain or shine.
