Walnut Ridge hosts Big Feed
Walnut Ridge Church is motivated to care for people in our community by Matthew 25:40 “ I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” In response, we encourage you join us for the Big Feed! Pick up your grocery bags, fill and return them to Walnut Ridge Church. Food collection continues throughout April for distribution to area food banks. Church plans helicopter egg drop
Walnut Ridge Baptist Church is hosting a Helicopter Easter Egg Drop from 1-3 p.m. April 12 at 1201 Texas 360 in Mansfield. There will be bounce houses, free food, a bunny zoo, diaper derby, crafts, puppet shows, egg hunts and more.
Church hosts special-needs prom
For a student with special needs, the traditional high school prom is a bit overwhelming! From 7-9:30 p.m. April 12, Mansfield Bible Church will host a prom, complete with formals and tuxedoes, in the gym that is specifically geared for these students. There is no charge for this event. If you have a special-needs student who would like to attend this prom, sign up online at www.MBCchurch.com.

Women can take recovery study
First Methodist Mansfield is offering a new Celebrate Recovery Step Study for women on Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m. A key ingredient to Celebrate Recovery, these gender-specific Step Studies utilize the 12 steps and eight principles based on the teachings of Jesus in the Beatitudes, helping participants deal with their own hurts, habits and hang-ups. Zambian orphans to perform
First Methodist Mansfield is hosting a special Celebrate Life concert at 6 p.m. April 27 in the sanctuary for Lifesong for Orphans. Lifesong works to bring joy and purpose to orphans across the world. This benefit concert will feature six children from their school in Kitwe, Zambia, singing traditional Zambian songs as well as performing with award-winning Christian artist Cheri Keaggy. Purchase tickets at www.lifesongfororphans.org for $5 each or at the door the evening of the concert. A love offering will be taken during the concert with 100 percent of the proceeds going to care for orphans and vulnerable children. First Methodist Mansfield is located at 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive.
Egg hunt set at Rose Park
Join First Methodist Mansfield for their annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at Rose Park from 3-5 p.m. April 13. There will be hunts for toddlers through fourth-graders, and the POP kids will also lead a short worship time. This is a free event.

Easter services planned at Performing Arts Center
First Methodist Mansfield invites you to celebrate Easter with your neighbors at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts this year. There will be a contemporary service at 6 p.m. April 19 and at 9 a.m. April 20. There will also be a traditional service at 11 a.m. April 20. The MISD Center for the Performing Arts is located at 1110 W. Debbie Lane in Mansfield. The church is also offering a sunrise service at 7 a.m. April 20 at Town Park, 500 N. Main Street. Leadership seminar slated for May 9
First Methodist Mansfield and the Mansfield school district are co-hosting this year's Leadercast simulcast at the MISD Center for the Performing Arts from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 9. Leadercast is for anyone who wants to improve their leadership skills. Consider bringing your team and potential customers to this event. The early bird price through April 9 is $65 per ticket, after that tickets are $75 each. The group rate for 10 or more is $55 per ticket. Purchase tickets online at www.leadercast/location/mansfield. Walnut Ridge begins T-Ball
Ready for some T-Ball? Come be part of a great league for boys and girls ages 4-7. The season starts April 26. They practice then play a game on Saturdays only. St. John Lutheran plans Easter festival
Join St. John Lutheran Church from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 12 for a free Easter festival celebrating the greatest hero of all time. Egg hunts will be at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., plus games, bounce houses, petting zoo, climbing wall and faith discovery stations featuring Jesus.
